I've got two problems with my 92' GSX-R.

1)I can't fix the passenger's seat cover to the
bike because the two plastic mounts are broken-
so the scews won't fix it to the bike.
What can I do?

2)The revolution counter revs up 'til 7.000 rpms
while accelerating, there is "hesitates" for a
second or two, then it shifts to 9.000rpm or
whatever rpm I've got and revs up to the limit.
I had the same problem with my Kawasaki GPZ 500
(don't laugh-it was my first bike) and my dealer
told me to exchange the whole instrument.
Could a sensor or whatsoever be damaged?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know about the seat, maybe some type of shadetree tech? I don't know about the gauge either, maybe it's dirty? But I had a Kawi and it was cool.

re: the seat problem.

perhaps you could smooth out were the original plastic lugs bolted to the subrame. then make some more out of metal, bend them to fit and epoxy/pop rivet them to your seat????????????

or am i talking bollox
