Problem with rearsets

Any of you guys have problems with Gilles rearsets rubbing on your exhaust when you apply the rear brake? I don't really use the rear brake but there are odd times when I do.

Re: Problem with rearsets

can you adjut the angle of the brake lever on the Gilles rearsets? You should be able adjust the pivot point so the lever starts high and ends higher, missing the pipework.
you might want to check brake fluid levels if the levers moving alot. i'll check movement on mine and get back to you to compare.

if they are adjustable rearsets you could probably also adjust them so it wouldn't rub

Re: Problem with rearsets

O.k guys, let me clear this up. I bought the the bike with the rearsets already on so I'm not sure if the spacers are on. I would think they are as there is nothing in the box. I'll try and post a pick up later to let you see.
