helum would help to lighten the wheels.. one thing i have see done is to remove all the spokes.. drill and mount wire spokes like on a bicycle rim.. yes its time consuming but if sone right youll save a easy 15lbs per wheel and all you need is a bunch of old bmx wheels to do it

I think I'm going to try to put some 10 speed bycycle tires on my GSXR. Maybe if I have time I'll put the sprockets and stuff on too. Not only will I save TONS of weight i'll have a shitload more gears too.

I've noticed that a lot of riders are changing their rims to lighter ones to reduce rotating mass thus gaining an extra 10-15 hp. So I was thinking that I could just fill my tires with helium to reduce the weight and since I won't get promoted to Frycook for at least another six months it'll be in my budget. How many baloons do you think it would take me to fill my tires up? I can't afford to get one of those air tanks so my niece's birthday is coming up and she's going to have plenty of those. On the other hand, do I really need three spokes? Would removing one and running with just two be just as good and save me at least another 10 lbs off each rim? Dayum, I'm going to patent this shit before someone beats me to it. Muhaha...
