Hello,

A while back I asked if anybody had contacts in Japan. There was 1 possible lead but I guess it didn't work out. Anyway, I was able to get in touch with Techinical Garage Run in Japan directly and was able to get the suspension linkage and rear-sets from them. Here are my impressions of them in case anyone is interested.

1. Suspension linkage and ride-height adjuster for '86 GSX-R1100: Beautifully machined but kind of a pain to adjust, as it uses shims and not threaded adjusters. But I figure I can always take it to Computrack and get it setup once and all.
2. Rear sets for '86 GSX-R750/1100: Not quite as nice as Mikuni Racing's rear sets but still damn good. Stock side panels can not be bolted to them, so they would be perfect for you LE owners or anybody not running the stock side panels.

I also have a set of rear sets from Mikuni Racing and these are gorgeous. They will work with the stock side panels. The quality is on par with Attack Performance's adjustable rear sets. There is a person on the Suzuki RG500 list who is able to get these and other parts from major Japanese manufactures (Yoshimura Japan, Advantage, etc.).

If you are interested in any of these parts I can give you the emails of the persons to contact.

Thanks,
Yancy

Do you know if they have parts(rearsets etc.) for the 93-95 GSXR 750? If so I would be interested in their e-mail address.

Hello,

Here are the links to the parts and also the persons to contact.

Technical Garage Run:

http://www.tg-run.com/parts/gsxr750_85_87bs.htm
Contact person: Takuya Sugimoto
email address: [email protected]

Mikuni Racing:
http://www.mikuniracing.co.jp/sentakuframe.htm
Contact person: Rocky Stargel(?); he's in the US
email address: [email protected]

Please note that these parts are not cheap (around $480 for the rear sets), but they are very high quality stuff and it's actually a tad cheaper than most of the adjustable rear sets here (Yoshimura, Attack Performance, etc.).

Mr Gixxer: The linkage is for the standard shock. If you are interested in ride height adjusters talk to Andrew from Adjustment Tech. He claims to have ride height adjusters for all years of gixxers (but they don't look nearly as good as Techinical Garage Run's setup).

GixxerRacer371: I don't see any parts for '93 ~ '95 750s. You might want to check with Yoshimura Japan (forget Yoshimura R&D of America; I find them to be useless when it comes to answering questions) to see if they have anything. If they have it, Rocky has a good change of getting them.
