hey brian, i am now trying to put on the 91/2 swing that i have and need some of your advice.
1. how did you make up for the difference in the frame size and the swing size at the pivot point?

2. what did you do for the different sized pivot bolts?

3. is this worth my time or should i just go back to the 86/7 swingarm?

4. do you have the bracket hanger for the rear brake?

5. if all else fails......do you have an 86/7/8 swingarm......

i am not getting the clearance need through the area where the shock sits. i have taken some off with the grinder, but it is catching A LOT. so need i say more.

also, let me know any unforseen problems i might run up against if i attempt to go this route. did the battery box work out ok? talk to you soon. jason

i had the lower shock mount welded up and moved inboard 1/4 inch to clear the arm. i also had to grind on the inside of the eccentric to clear my shock since the hole has been moved in. im using a heim end in the bottom of my fox shock for even more clearance.

Sorry, my cable modem is down

I used the bushings from my 88 arm in the 92 and used my original pivot bolt

I did have to add shims to the ends of the pivot area under the caps

I made spacers to match the width as seen here:

I am using the stock rear brake bracket hanger

my stock arm is not in good enough shape that you would want it
