overheating Temp gauge not working.....

I pulled my motor to fix second gear and upon reinstall I filled the radiator and burped it along with filling the resovoir. However when it runs it overheats and the temp gauge doesn't read anything.

I think I might have an air bubble but I don't know how to remove it.
