Finally got her prepped--sans paint, no time. Just got the bodywork yesterday and I have to teach race school on Tuesday.

For those curious, I'm using PP-Tuning rearsets, fully customizable, very trick stuff. They're '3D' model is even cooler, but they weren't ready in time so I'm using the standard adjustable. Fed-Ex guy should be momentarily with my frame sliders.

The SharkSkinz bodywork fits like glove (as expected). Unusual parts when race prepping this bike is that the ram air tubes stay connected to the bodywork when you take it off. Actually wraps around the radiator overflow as well.

As mentioned before, I had to relocate the voltage regulartor in order to find a place for the shock resevoir:

Front Marvic wheels aren't available yet so I'm just gonna run the stock rims for the first weekend (next week).

Other items on there include:

GP Suspension 25mm SBK fork cartidges
Ti-Force exhaust
WoodCraft ClipOns
WoodCraft Casecover (left side not available yet)
WoodCraft rearstand spools
Sprint damper
Vesrah SRJL-17 brake pads
Sprocket Specialists 520 sprockets 16x43
DID ERV2 520 chain

I took it for a quick ride around the block, first time I got to ride her. 2 miles and I was grinning ear to ear. 3 more days and I can't freakin wait to hit the track.

I'll add my race numbers when I get to the track (not sure if they're gonna make me add some white background). Hopefully I'll have it painted before the May event.

Fucking sweet bike man. when you going to the dyno for a remap?
It went from the showroom floor right to the dyno for break-in. About 10-15 dyno miles on it and it put out 165hp. No remap yet as the PowerCommander's aren't out yet and Yosh was claiming that the Yoshi box wouldn't do the trick (we now believe different and will give it a shot this weekend at the track).

Once the PC-USB comes in I'll get a pump gas map, U4 map, and MR-1 map. I'm thinking with the pipe, race gas, and tuning I'll be over 180.

um in one part you say woodcraft rearsets., then PP-Tuning rearsets the next well which is it., geeezzz....
oops, mental lapse while typing, corrected.

taz--i'm not currently planning on doing a 'paint' job as I've already had to get two this year already. I might just buy the paint myself do a black lower, while upper, black tail with some plates and then add some accents to the upper from tapeworks. not sure yet.

yes, i know mike, you'll paint it pink for free. its tempting, but no thanks.

Here's a paint scheme I just came up with. I can do the black and white sections and then get some thick pin striping tape for the red. Add some accents here and there. Maybe some on the tail and along the side of the windscreen.

Are you going to spray paint it or car paint it? I like the scheme, but the tank should be black as well. When your done it should look hott

Also I think some flakes on the red would look hott, to give it the bling

I'd get auto paint that matches the tank's black. I have a spray booth setup and have the equipment, just haven't bothered with it lately, was too a pain in the ass.

Nice . . . looks good Adam.

I'll see you up there on Friday . . . we might try to make it up there for the afternoon practice session so I can get used to the R6. If Friday is wet, we'll just be setting up but no track time.

Hey, anybody know if the the Dunlop guys are open on Friday afternoon??? I need to pick up a rear tire and want to avoid the shipping charges.
