Got these @ 6:40 this morning...Opening day here in MD...

The Mature bird has about a 8" beard and and weight 21.7 lbs... the Jake has a 4" beard and weighed 18 lbs...

Got them with one shot...The only problem is that The Jake was not even in the line of sight...He was the victim of a single stray pellet...

We had 2 GIANT toms with paint brush beards draggin the ground come into about 15 yds silently...never made a peep till they came out of strut...

but I could not get turned in time to shoot...

Enjoy anyway...There is always tomorrow...
