I am getting a little short of space under the bike, so I am thinking about swapping the oilpan of my 1127 to one, which is from 1052.
The one from 1052 is about 1cm lower, which I do apreciate a lot.
They look very much the same to me.
Is there any problems, I should be aware of??
- Oilpump??
- Overheating??
Anything else??
sealings of them are having different part-numbers, but are they both the same??
It would not be the first time Suzuki is changing part-number, even if the part is the very same between different year-models

If they are not the same, which sealing should I use??

Keep the rubberside down,

the only way you will be able to interchange the oil pan is to interchange the oil pickup and the oil cooler and lines...the 1052 comes with banjo fittings and the 1127 cames with screw on fittings to the oil pan...bolt pattern on the pans are the same so that won't be a problem...good luck!!

Thx for the answers...
Looks like it is much easier just to cut the original oilpan and take that unneeded 1cm of and put it all together.
