i need to replace my oil pan, and looks like i have to take alotta things off to just remove it. can anyone tell me what i need to remove and how to go about it, so i don't remove unnecessary things

no.... its really easy. just take off the fairings, get under the bike, first make sure to drain all the oil. then just take out all the bolts that hold the pan to the lower block. they are all 8mm i believe. there are 3 of them that have washers on them I think. make sure they go back in where they were before.

you might have to get the headers off in order to get it out too...

if the gasket is ok, you can prob use it again. if not, its cheap anyways.

yeah, when i was lookin at the headers, it looks like i can't get to all to bolts (the bolts for the middle two) to remove the headers because the radiator's in the way. you think that i should have enough space to remove the header?

You can get the headers off with the radiator on , but its a LOT easier and faster in the long run to remove it. Or at least swivel it up, undo the bottom 10mm bolt and the bottom right hose. Drain it first!
