I have a 2001 Intruder 1500, and I am getting a lot of oil in my air box. It seems to be coming out of the crank case breather tube. When I say a lot of oil I'm saying in about 30 to 40 seconds of running the engine at high rev I will have roughly a half a cup of oil in the air box. I don't understand why. Please help

Smell the oil for fuel. Its a real good chance that tour carbs are flooding fuel into the head and down into the crankcase, over filling it and pushing it out of the breather hose.

Also look here. Leakage past rings. Overfilled crankcase. Have you done anything to your breather cover?
