So have they ran into the typical front motor mount issue? I've only heard of two semi annoying issues when doing it. The first being the front mount the second being a low fuel light after the swap for some reason.

OK so what's the best possible swap for an 02 600 frame I have a general idea of what I'm in for but I'm also trying to make sure there isn't anything stupid I'm going to try I'd hate to be midway and be like well this ain't gonna to work

^^ ??

Listen man, don't attempt this at all. Just starting a thread like this and the questions you have posed so far indicates you don't have enough experience for a project like that.
Especially with the 2017 motor which was made more compact for it's final revision in 06/7.

You could look for same year 600/750 motor, be much more straightforward but would still take some learned skills to rebuild the entire motorcycle correctly.
How beat up is your 600 chassis ? is it worth it ?

Just buy a complete bike with no issues and enjoy life. Learn to work on it and take it apart then later on down the road if you still want to build a Frankenstein you will have a clue.
