I haven't run the bike in over a month, and today I took the battery out the gsxr and the Harley for the winter. I noticed under the gsxr towards the back of the underbelly fairing a little wet spot, like the size of a baseball on the cement. I wonder what this might be?? What do you guys think. I will be getting my K&N filter in 2 days and I will be putting that on
, as well as those frame sliders I just got.

I'd say that when I installed my K&N, I lost so much off-idle torque (stop lights & such) that I replaced it to stock that evening!

Oh yeah... What's the puddle!? Coolant, oil, etc. If it's not chemical, maybe a rat or possum urinated? Is it snowing? Maybe some snow was brought in somehow... you have kids?

It might have been oil, but it seemed to be more like condensation or something.

Did you touch and smell it!? If it's oil, you've got problems. On the other hand if it is oil, you should be able to trace where the leak is coming from easily! As for condensation, you haven't started the bike for a month? The bike hasn't been hot enough for the cold to generate enough condensation to drip. Got me stumped. Goes w/o saying, BUT touch and feel it.

Check and see what it is, if u did not have any problems before i would bet that its prob a slow leak coming from the drain bolt for the oil pan. did u change your oil before u stored it? if u did you might want to get a new washer.

Ya I changed it right before I came back from Tennessee, and I ran it a little bit, but not much. I will crawl under the bike tommorow and really check it out, and let you guys know what it might be.

Well I finished putting on the sliders and I got a chance to really look at that puddle I found. Well it is defently oil, but it is coming off of the oil plug, so I guess I need to put a washer on the plug, and unfortunatley I just changed the oil so I guess that means I have to drain the oil again and fix this. Damn it!

I was afraid of cranking the plug too much, so I loosened it a little, and then I cranked it down a bit more this time. It didn't leak at all over night, but next time I will have to get a better washer on the plug.
