I have done the most street riding ever this winter. I take one of the bikes out when it’s sunny and 50 degrees for 30 minutes to 1 hour or so. I have been teaching my youngest son how to ride. He has been riding the 400. Trying to get him ready for rookie day 6/7 at NYST! Curious to see how this VIRUS will effect the start of track season. Daytona was cancelled. Was looking forward to the the 1st weekend in April at NCBIKE with Evolve. Not looking good.

I ride with MidWest Trackday a lot. Jeff is working on contacting the tracks to see what is going to happen. Personally, outdoors, 6' rule is easy to apply and I think even under 250 people is an easy requirement to meet. The only exception is the safety meeting. I do know one thing, if this season is cancelled, I might have enough funds to get a newer bike.

No surprise, the NYST takeover at Jennings Florida 3/27-3/30 has been cancelled. So has NCBIKE 4/4-4/5 and Summit Point 4/10 & 4/11. Who knows how long this will last. I have been taking short rides in my area to keep my sanity.

The cancellations continue, all the April track days have been cancelled. Now some or most early May days have been cancelled. NYST is still looking to open May 2nd & 3rd and limit the number of riders to 40. I won’t be going, the weather isn’t looking too great and NY is still on lockdown until May 15th or longer. I will probably wait until the end of May or early June to start the season. Stay healthy!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I've taken the 1000 out a couple times just to tool around and break up the cabin fever. This has been a rather cold and crappy spring IMHO.

Other than his usual problems of sticking to a diet he's all good, lol. I mentioned to Bob I'm also not feeling particularly confident that I'll be making it to the track this season. My buddy Paulie who I brought with me last time for his first TD back in Sept when I crashed just picked up a Ducati Supersport and is keen to return but I guess we'll have to play things by ear. Other than starting off the year traveling to Japan back in January I'd like to just erase 2020 and have a do-over.

What’s up peeps, been meaning to check in here. I have gotten in 6 track days this season so far. I did 3 at NYST, 2 at NCBIKE and 1 at Summit Point. I have been riding both the 400 and 300. 2 track days at NYST were ridiculously packed, the other 4 days were not packed and had numbers that were enjoyable. 90% of the people in NC and West Virginia were not wearing mask. I had mines on. Who knows when things will be shut down again with cases spiking in the southern states. 2020 has sucked for sure.

I sold the white 300 in July and picked up this 2014 300 in early sept. I put a full Brock exhaust and ECU flash and this 300 rips!!! So much fun riding a LITTLE bike WOT!!!
