It's not bad man. I had a hotbodies hugger on my '03 600 and I liked it a lot but I really don't like the cheap plastic hugger on the '06's. They all look bent and out of wack. I may take mine off to see how it looks.

Not sure though b/c it does actually have a purpose you know.

ive wondered the same thing but usually people on here flame u for this shit but i think it looks good, id just invest in a nice one some time down the road.

dont worry bout the strips mine looks just like that too haha....u dont wanna rush it, i try to get over further but the only road i try on has poles every 10 feet and semi truck trailors parked on the other side of the road and i dont want to get chopped into peices if i fuck up.

Don't worry about the chicken strips. Do a track day, or go riding with some experienced twisty riders. They will magically vanish!

I like the looks of that too, (the lack of a hugger, not the chicken strips ) I've thought about doing the same thing with mine, but as noted earlier, was concerned about the extra debris I would be dealing with come bath time. I'll have to give it a second thought now that I have seen it removed on the exact same bike as mine! Sweet bike.

Parked next to my bosses Duc. He ditched his hugger and his whale tail recently, it looks sweet. Might i say thats a handsome truck parked next to them as well.

Wow, that does look good sans hugger. The undertail has a slick finish and is easy to clean, I think I may have to give that a shot. Thanks for the pics...

I like the hugger look. But IMO, it really doesn't matter.

Looks good, just loose the pillion pegs and it will look really clean. The only reason I would not go without a hugger is all the crap that will cover your rear shock, but if you are anal about cleaning then it should not be a problem.

I like the hugger look better myself. I plan on getting a new one custom made in the future.

I prefer not to throw tar and other road debris on my rear shock... but to each his own.

That's why I like my hugger too for that! ^^^^ And it's pretty hard to remove chicken strips in Calgary unless you go to Race City and do a track night/day! I hated riding around Calgary when I lived there.

I like the no hugger look, but then I say remove the chain guard also...very clean look (and maybe a pound?) But, been there and done that...too much cleaning for me. You will have to judge for yourself. GL.
