Alright guys, as the title implies, I'm a newbie with this bike (Experienced rider, first gsxr)

I have an 03 gsxr and have a few issues with it, checked forums prior to for exact problems but I haven't discovered the exact same issues for anyone else, some are sort of similar but different issues.

I'll try to make this as detailed as possible first problem i notice is my bike is hard to start sometimes even after it's warmed up, bike cranks, but takes multiple times turning off completely and on to start, sometimes the fuel light comes on and the code F1 comes on my dash with a red flashing light, IF the bike starts up with no issues the light wont generally come on and all is well on that part.

The main problem I have however is my bike will not rev past 4,000 rpm and will not exceed 65 mph. I purchased the bike used and had to replace the ecu because a pin was broken from the previous owner My bike upon, hitting 4,000 rpm begins misfiring consistently if i hold the throttle, 1st gear bike only gets up to about 25 mph before misfiring, 2nd gear about 35 mph and so on until i reach 65 mph in the final gear no matter what gear anytime the bike reaches 4,000 rpm it will misfire, just ordered a new TPS incase that was a suggestion, replaced spark plugs problem was present before and after, I think it's important to note that before replacing the ecu the bike would lose power.

( forgive me for bouncing all over the place, just trying to give as much info as possible.) Had it at the mechanics he popped his ecu in my bike, said ecu wasn't the problem and the problem still persists even with his ecu.

If anyone has any idea or suggestions to check things in particular i'd be hella grateful, it's embarassing when little rice burners are passing be because I can't accel in my proper gears.

A flashing red LED is not good. That indicates an error severe enough for the bike to not run. See 4-15 in the service manual. It oftentimes comes from steel particles building up on the CKP or CMP sensors. Checking the CMP sensor is fairly easy. The CKP is harder to get to. Not revving is probably due to either the secondary throttle or the exhaust valve not opening. Both are cycled when the ignition is turned on so it ought to be possible to visually check them.

Look up dealer mode so you can access the codes it's giving you. It's where I would start.
As mentioned above I would suspect the stv or exhaust valve is faulty. You can visually check though for proper movement but ultimately the deer mode may point the way.
