I can dig it, lots to be said about the first gen, and second, simple body work, 4 piece.. easy to work on, not as much to go wrong or fail.. leaving you stranded.. but still fun as hale..

yours looks real clean, very nice bike man... lucky

what parts you looking for the tank grab bar for passenger, highly recommended if you are riding pillion..

they are heavy enough to grab hold of real good so the pillion not need interfere wit the rider or fall off under heavy torque.. real good investment if you pillion a lot, just remember you valuable, they can grab em and well you get it.. ouch..

for cornering and such very nice, passing cars, or heavy acceleration and BRAKING, especially good for breaking as there is no weight pushing you into the tank and knocking you off your game.. makes both passenger and rider feel safer and more comfy..

then you can lock helmets and bags to it when parked.. nice units, get the good one tnot the cheapie..

That tank grabber does look like a much better option. I will have a pillion on there pretty much every day. My bmw 535d goes tonight and then a 5 hour bus journey tomorrow to pick the bike up and ride back home.

probably a bit crazy if me but I won’t have a car for a little 🤣

for the most part my pillion will be my 12 year old daughter.

welp if she can reach its a real good option for a kid who may not understand the general concepts of riding, once she reaches around and grabs the bar she won't be able to move around on you, way better riding experience for both, much safer too, specially under panic braking, she wont jam you up and force you into a mistake and you won't be worrying about her being ejected or anything, you will know when she is connected to the bike and be able to act accordingly. she'll build up her strength in a week or so and it's all cake from there.. good units

you can get soft saddlebags for toting gear, backpacks what not, I run em, why not? beats a backpack all day long.. just stuff her backpack whatever in the saddle bag and go... they strap under the rear seat, strap down to rear pegs, you can carry her gear, gloves, helmet, and jacket so forth in the saddle bags when she's not aboard.. gear up and go..
