hey all,

i bought a set of 1988-1989 gsxr 750 36mm carbs that supposedly have a factory-pro jet kit, but i need help with confirming the main jet size, mixture screw settings, needle clip position and fuel height settings.

does anyone have a copy or know the settings for a "factory-pro" stage 3 jet kit for the 1988-1989 GSXR 750 36mm carbs?

the current carbs have a 122.5 main jets, and have aftermarket needles at the number #2 clip/position.

I have a Factory Pro kit for 91-92 750 38mm BST. Not the same but they don't give an exact setup either. It's designed to be tuned for best results. The kit came with 4 jet sizes 115 through 125. I believe it does recommend starting with the needle in the middle range, so you are ok at 2 or 3. Fuel height should be 14.7mm. Mixture screw starting at 2.5 turns out.

thank you. that helps. i'm learning that motorcycle techs/mechanics do not want to work with carburetors, so that means that i better learn myself.
