Gent I have a 1100-G 1986I need a black box for it how much are they and where can I get it? Is it as simple as simple as removing the old one and plugging in the new one?

You can get one from vance and hines or dyna if you don't want stock. If you are looking for stock then try ebay or maybe a junkyard.

Yes it is. I change 2 black box in two bikes different and is very simple.

If you harness conector is bad and need to replace, do you have careful with the position wires.

It will take me a week or so but I will take you up on that offer. I'm a father of 6 and we just started the Chrismas layaway thing so I'm pretty short this week. I can't believe how expensive toys have gotten! I've got 4 boys and 2 girls ranging from 21 months to 11 so I have plenty of excuses to try out the new toy lines!
