My bikes battery keeps dying even when the bike is completely off

So I just bought my 2007 gsxr 600 used. Started right up and rode as it should. Later on in the day I stopped at the store. Came out 10 minutes later and my bike wouldn’t start. And I noticed the more I tried to start it, the faster it seemed to die. Went to AutoZone. Bought and planned a brand new battery in it and it started up right away! Fast forward. A day later I’m having the same issues again. Took the battery back to AutoZone. Had them charge it. Placed it back into the bike. It again started right back up. Idk what’s going on. Does anyone know what my issue could be? I also noticed this device of some sort in the trunk. Not sure what it is but I attached a photo. Could anyone tell me what it is?

EVERY THING IS OFF ON THE BIKE, BUT IT STILL DRAINS THE BATTERY. IF I DISCONNECT THE BATTERY THEN I CAN START MY BIKE AND RIDE FOR A WHILE BUT IF I DONT THEN IT IS DEAD IN ABOUT 2 HOURS. I EVEN TRYED TO HOOK IT UP TO A TENDER OVER NIGHT WITH THE BATTERY HOOKED UP. BUT IT STILL KILLED THE BATTERY.

I was told it could be my stator and or rectifier/regulator. But how could this be if the bike isn’t even running when the battery is dying?I don’t want to invest hundreds of dollars into getting both of these swapped out if it doesn’t fix my issue.

Get a multi-meter and a service manual...then you can start trouble shooting, instead of guessing.
You need to know what the battery voltage is, when the bike is running...to determine if the charging system is working.
Then we can see if there is an "ignition off draw"...is something draining the battery, when the key is off etc.
