Just get it checked and adjusted. Valves need regular checking...

Re: Motor is ticking I think it\'s a valve, what to do??

how do you adj. the the valve's there's no rockers to adj. Theres only cam-lifter-valve.

What happened is my air shifter went bad and I bounced it on the rev. limiter three times in a row before I found out what was going on.But thats not what did it,the next time I had it out I made a full qtr. mile pass in it and then after I let out of the throttle I noticed a light came on the gauge panel and then it started ticking so I shut it off.costed to my tralier and started it agian and it ticks steady with the idle and gets faster when i rev it.If you put your hand on the head you could feel it like something banging the inside of my motor.

Shims - get a workshop manual, measure the valve gap and change the shims according to that if neccessary.

Could be the cam chain too, though
The CC tensioner often went bad on the older GSX-Rs, could be that...
