Yeah these Yankees up here are very bike unfriendly. To the point that Maryland doesn't accept the MSF course for your license and you have to take their begining rider course(that may be because they are money crubbing pricks but hey I am used to Florida).

You'll find that MD has lots of those kind of quirks. Try getting professional licensure transferred to MD and you often run into the kind of thing you're talkin about.
