What are you gonna attach that midpipe on to?

this is the complete stock K6/7 exhaust
As you see the header and CC+Muffler are 2 pieces, without destructive means, you cannot separate the muffler from the CC

AFAIK there are only midpipes for the K8/L0, since with those models, the CC is welded to the headers, instead of the K6/7's where the CC is welded to the muffler, So people with a K8/L0 were always stuck with the factory CC when changing to an aftermarket muffler
their fix was cutting the CC off the headers and replacing it with a mid pipe OR mounting K6/7 mufflers, which was a very easy fix

Aftermarket K6/7 mufflers always come with a midpipe (sometimes loose, sometimes attached to the muffler-side, since you simply clamp it on the headers with these models)

Your best bet would be to find a slip on and go to an exhaust shop, they would easily be able to fabricate a mid pipe for you.

Anything beats that ugly heavy catalytic converter haha.
