Maybe I\'m doing something wrong?

Still mulling over this weekend, running lap after lap through my head and I'm wondering if my gear selections are off. Considering how shitty my drive was off most corners, I can only blame so much of it on me being a pussy.

Anyway, I'm running 16/48 on the bike (same as Fever ran it).
I'm going into T1 in 3rd and holding it thru T2,
downshifting to 2nd for T3,
upshifting to 3rd then 4th thru T5 and down the hill,
back down to 3rd for T6 and carrying that all the way to T11
down to 2nd for 11a and 12.
I'll hit 5th at the start/finish line.

Other than twisting the "loud handle" harder and using a lot less brake, any suggestions?

16x48 is wrong. You need a 15x48 is the hot setup on the 01-03 GSXR 600s at Loudon. A 16 front is used for VIR and Summit.

Shifting pattern is a lil off. Typically you grab an upshift to 4th between 2-3 and then back down to 3rd for turn 3. Up to 4th over turn 5 and back down to 3rd into turn 6. Carry 3rd gear all the way to turn 11, then downshift to 2nd. Grab 3rd, 4th and 5th on the straight. Two downshifts into turn 1.
