The Crash Crew stirkes again, we had a newbie go down in the same turn that has bitten many a rider. I had just warned the other 2 guys who had never been thru there before about how this turn has taken many a rider out. The newbie who had been thru there with us last year goes down instead. He took the turn a little too hot for his comfort, target fixated and
high sided right into the tall soft grass. He was unhurt and the bike had some minor damage. WE could not get the bike to start, we tried everything. Turned out it was a blown fuel fuse. I had to go and get the rescue wagon.

Mitch and V, how did you like that mountain road we took back? We take that route when we are doing a shorter run.

The weather was just plain awesome today. I was looking forward to a nice long run. :punk

Hehe - crash crew

Mountain road was very nice...smooth and clean. You really know your way around up there.
Thats weird that he blew the fuel pump fuse. Even if we found the fuse, him riding back with that broken clutch lever would have been tough.

Sucks he went down. But im glad he was ok. Sucks his bike took some dmg but could of been worse. Thank god for that. Which route did you guys take?
It was rout 44/55 right after rt 209. That very tight and twisty section that
has bitten many a rider. How have you been bro, what's your status riding wise.

AHh ya. Damn. Well atm Doctor said I need surgery on my right knee tore my medial meniscus. Im gonna wait till the winter so I get this riding season in. 17 weeks to recover so Ill do it like nov. Atm since Im not working and Army does not pay enough disability to sustain all my bills, I have to save up for tires. Back and front have alittle meat but kinda bulging out. Paying for the insurance just need the tires then ill be back. Was gonna do track this year but prob wait till next yr after im all fixed back up. Hows everything with you?

The main thing Devin, is too get back on the horse ASAP after a crash. Wheither its on the street or track. You can't let it linger and mess with your head. WE all go down, just gear up and learn from your mistakes and become a better rider!!!

Damn J, you have the worse luck. Hope to see ya soon out there. All is well, as you can see, we are still doing our thing in the mountains. More and more of the crew has been hitting the track. :punk

Glad to hear that Devin! Just friendly advise, try to get better gear. I saw some crazy good deals online including ebay. Decent 1 piece suit for $250 - $300. There’s never enough protection ;)
