I have a 1986 GSXR 750 and want to convert form the original 18" wheels to a 17" set. It seems the 88 and 89 slingshot wheels are an easy conversion (from what I've read) though I've been unable to find any (complete units with all components). I have a two US versions one bought by me new in January 1986 and the other used in 1987. One has been used off and on over the years and the other was high-sided in 88 and is just getting restored.

Can anyone suggest other ways to go? I appreciate the help. Not a lot of 18" rubber available.

Don't know if it helps but I did my '86 with '95 parts. Had to modify the rear brake caliper but other that that was an easy swap.
