I HAVE A k7 GIXXER 1000... BUT IT IS WAY MORE COMPLICATED TO MODIFY THROUGH ECU EDITOR THAN MY GEN II.
PARTIALLY BECAUSE I HAVE NOT FLASHED ANYTHING IN ABOUT 16 MONTHS.

WHEN I ENABLE THE 2 STEP, THEN IT WILL CUT TO THE RPM I SET ONLY WHEN CLUTCH IS ENGAGE AND AT FULL THROTTLE????
CORRECT????
IM WANTING TO RETARD THE TIMING AND PULL SOME FUEL IN FIRST GEAR SO I DO NOT WHEELIE OVER IN FIRST GEAR IF I USE THE 2 STEP AND IM HAND CLUTCHING???

CAN YOU DIRECT ME TO WHERE I CAN ACCESS A BIN FILE THAT SOMEONE HAS SHARED FOR A K7 1000

What is so difficult using Ecueditor or Woolich Racing software on a K7-K8 1000? :scratch
Those Bin-files are not protected and you can modify them if want to make changes.

Hello everyone,

The software is available for download for free to check out, and you can build hardware yourself or I make pre-tested hardware that is plug and play, no wire splicing, you just have to insert 2 ecu pins into the ecu connector where empty spots are now, and same on the 8 pin black yosh connector.
ive gone through some of the posts but i am looking for the schematic/parts list to make this myself.
also what cables will i need besides

- 2009-2011 GSX-R 1000
- 2012-2016 GSX-R 1000
- 2008-2017 GSX1300R Hayabusa
- 2007-2010 GSX1300BK B-King

I've been using a custom bin with fuel cut disabled for a few years and it's one of the best mods you can do to your bike.

Hi Guys!
I'm having lots of trouble trying to connect to a 21h50 ECU. I could reflash my K5 with my USB to Serial cable, but Im not able to connecto the this K7 ECU with Ecueditor.

I'm using a FT232 USB to Serial cable, with ECU on the bench, connecting like this:
FT232 RX-> ECU TX
FT232 TX-> ECU RX
FT232 GND -> ECU GND & power source GND
12V+- -> Ecu Power Source

I connect the ECU to the PC, then setup ECU editor COM port (below COM4) but when I try to read sensor data from Ecueditor it says: error: power is not on,ECU is in programming mode or Com port is not set correctly.Modemstat-6000....
I'm running out of ideas...anyone has experience on these ECUs?

Here are the parts I used to make a new flashing hardware after my Woolich LogBox's USB port failed.

+5V FTDI cable

That was I was looking for back then, meanwhile we gave up reflashing that bike! Maybe I will test it in the future if any friend comes with his K8 to reflash. BTW, have some updates for you regarding the EMpro connection...email!

I flashed a Busa last night,and it has 2 issues... I'm posting this here because some people are already flashing the Busa bins into the K7 ECUs...

1) A mode stays on the screen all the time after the bike starts... And I can't change the modes at all.


2) Quickshifter is working only until 4th gear,it won't cut 4th--> 5th or 5th--> to 6th.


I have done:

1) Rev limiter to 12,000 rpm, gear limiters removed

2) Dragtools enabled,but slew rate retard is set to 0 ( is there a way to activate the quicklaunch without the slew rate? It's mostly bolt on mods on this Busa and it doesn't need it :dunno )

3) Quickshifter enabled,kill time set to 60ms and I'm using the sidestand switch of a K7 1000 for sensor with a custom bracket ( it has a diode in it).

4) Fuel map adjusted
I'm not sure about any of this but I know who could answer anything you ask. His name is Evan Steel at ESP performance in Tucson AZ. USA. I would say look him up and call him to pick his brain a little!

hi JK750, is still working free the ecu editor v2.5?
i have a 750k9 EU model..my old R6 with the TTL 5v ftdi cable works perfectly , (only writing)..now for my 750k9 EU i can read and write (with correction of cksm) on ecueditor v2.5?

^That has nothing to do with ECU flashing or with a K7/K8. Please post in the correct section.

Hi, I'm sorry for digging this up but can you post the wiring diagram of the type 4 harness. I need it to connect my k9 750 to the woolich logbox. Thank you so much.

Can some one maybe disable the feulcut on my k7 1000 file it is a 32920-21H50 file im tuning it myself in winols but i cant seem to find the decel fuelcut map
