hi guys,

please help.
my K6 radiator fan refuses to work.
i have replaced the radiator cap, engine temperature sender on the left side behind the cylinders.
i have tested and swopped the fan relay and it works.
i replaced cooling housings and checked for leaks - all is good.
i have unclipped the relay and manually energized the feed wire to the fan and the fan works fine, so wiring and relay ruled out as faulty.

the bike runs until the cluster flashes and the fan does not come on.

i read in the manuals they say that the ECU controls the fan.. is this true?
i cannot find a radiator fan switch in the entire cooling system.

what do i do to fix this besides fitting an aftermarket thermoswitch to the cooling system and manually bypass this function...

please guide me here.
thanks

What is your cluster reading for temperature say when it flashes? Is it over 228? The ECU most certainly controls the fan. You should check the Black/White wires at pins 2, 3, and 31 for connection.

Also check the Orange/Red wire at your fuses and the 15A fuse in slot 6. Fuse box is behind the battery under the seat.
