Hi

For this season I installed ABM Suberbike conversion kit for more relaxed seating position. It is much more comfortable everyday bike than before. Unfortunately standard mirrors are now even more covered with my hands.

If anyone has experience and point me to good replacement mirrors that you have experience with? Any images would be also very helpful if you have done this type conversions.

I'm not entirely sure but I think bar ends would be the most reasonable option.

fig 1 shows oem bar position (mirrors partially blocked but usable)

fig 2 shows raised bar position, probably wider as well (mirrors not usable)

fig 3 to use oem mounting points, stalks would have to be extended. looks a bit silly and without additional support, vibration would cause distorted view. The oem stalks are already pretty long, finding something longer may be difficult.

fig 4 Bar ends would solve the problem but would take a little getting used to.

type in search "fighter bike mirrors" and look at images..some really trick ones. with mx style bars you also have the option to use clamp ons.

I agree - the bar end mirrors are probably your best bet.

Please go introduce yourself in the "Starting Line" section and tell us about yourself, your riding experience, and maybe a picture of your ride :cheers
