Got a k4 600 that is overheating still learning the mechanical part of bikes am I supposed to get pressure to any of the hoses?or could it be a bad temp switch ? Thanks in advance
It does start to boil but I’m not getting no pressure to any of the hoses on the radiatorThe system should pressurize as it heats up. It's common for a something to happen at the cap which prevents this. Does it boil and spill from the expansion tank?
What you you mean you're not getting any pressure? The system runs at 12psi, which won't feel like much if you're just squeezing the hoses. The system must have pressure to work properly. Take the radiator cap to a local radiator shop and ask them to test it. While you have it off, clean the neck of the radiator really well and check it to make sure it's flat.It does start to boil but I’m not getting no pressure to any of the hoses on the radiator
