Not sure what I doing yet. May just enjoy the day and go to the beach lol. I Bent the rear rim on the 7fitty when the bike was 2 days old so I may just take it off and send it out to get fixed this weekend.

Johnny you going to NJMP the 17th ?

Guys, this kwalazuki frankenbike is faaken amazing. I won't do the ride, but might just ride up to the circle for a half hour to show off lol. One downside, turning radius of a mac truck. I almost dropped ot twice going low speeds. Has maybe 10 degrees of steering motion. Limited by the steering damper. I might get a different one if I can't get used to it. But rides like its on rails!

It's not looking good for me for the 17th. The day is sold out and my funds are low and I need a rear race tire. Lightning ate up my rear street tire. I have only a few weeks left on it. Looks like me and Ernie are out for the 17th.:dissapointed

Shaft we will be doing one of the Hawks nest runs.

Alex, like Bobby Boy said, something aint right. Where is the stabilizer mounted? Maybe you need a top mounted one? :scratch

the stabilizer is mounted in the hayabusa stock location, but it's limited stroke is preventing the bars from swooping side to side to the full lock, it has very limited mobility. it feels normal over 10mph, and about the same as my truck under 10 mph.
since i don't really ride under 10 mph, i figure it's not a huge priority, if you catch my drift.

this is how she sits:

My street bike wouldn't go all the way to the right for a while, cuz I messed up the install of my stabilizer. It drove me NUTS. I feel so much better now that it's fixed. Moving the bike around while not riding sucked. And I probably move it around more not riding than actual riding :lol

yea, I might play around with it later on, when it really bugs me, for now i'l ride it like i stole it and try to get used to the whole new suspension thing for once. it feels really good, super solid mid corner, yet very flickable for such a portly machine. very happy with the mods!!

You need to get your suspension set up properly.

i played with the settings a bit, and it feels great! i am definitely open to suggestions, and would love to get it really sorted out. who would be able to do that for me? (i might trailer it to the next track day, and have glen look at it, but i doubt he would be really happy about that. lol)

Oh , Im surprised we didn't talk about this when we were at the track. I had Glen help me with my sus on the saturday morning. My sag was pretty close so he just played with the damping adjustments. No charge. I thought that was very cool. I told him this is one of the reasons why I keep coming back.

The guy who was up first had Glen adjusting his front and rear springs. It was funny watching Glen sweating , wrenching on this guys bike while in full leathers. Anyhoo , the guy said he had washington cycle works do his suspension. I was surprised since I took a bike there a while ago to have them set my sag and they did it correctly but this bike was so off it wasn't even close.

I could help you out Alex. At least get you in the ballpark. Drop me a text yo.

I think Im out for Sunday. Been busy working ot and there's a bunch stuff around the house i need to do.
