I have a question about the adjustable needles in these jet kits. I bought a factory jet from a good friend of mine, but it didn't have the needles. (He's ordering them for me, seems they were stolen.) Anyway, he said that I might get the results I was looking for by just installing the main jets. I tried it. Installing the 130 jets on the outside and the 127.5 jets on the inside, and the mix screws at 2.5 turns out.

Well, he was right. The bike has the power I was looking for. It's great. I scared the s#i$ out of myself at light the day I put it in. The bikes power was way different.

So here's the question. What do I stand to gain or lose with installing the adjustable needles? Will it lean my bike out, or rich it up? (right now I'm running a **** hair rich) If anyone knows please let me know.

Still have the stock air filter, w/ the RS-3 slip-on.

Frosty the adjustable needles will help you tune the mid range response. having adjustable needles is a good thing. You are able to fix that midrange richness or leaness and also has stock setting where you at now on it so get it install it

I 2nd that suggestion, put in the factory needles. Also when you get the jetting 'close' a dyno run can tell you further changes you need to get real close to perfect, I did and it was a noticable improvement. good luck

Hey Audi1031 I understand that you were running that vance and hines power pack at one time. What did that do for you?

it pulled my redline a little higher and low end when stock was better to me,but I am getting rid of it to get a dyna2000 if you want it let me know i let you get it for dirt cheap email me and i will shoot you a price
