Has any one ever atempted to make a jack up kit for a 1991 750, (I think you guy's call em' dog bones) to jack the back end up. if not which ones would you suggest I buy?

Do you need to jack it up? It'll fuck the handling right up.

I was thinking about lifting the seat and stuff but by cutting the subframe and redesigning it to look something a bit more like the last 10 years but couldn't be arsed in the end.

You could always gaffer tape a phonebook to your arse...that'd get you lifted

Jacking the backend up like that causes the top run of the chain to pass closer to the swingarm pivot. You have to be careful.
Having said that I don't know where you can buy ready made links. Got any friends who can use machine tools?
As was said earlier, it is better to raise the seat. More work though as you really need to do it by relocating or rebuilding the subframe.

I know Yoshimura used to make them, but I guess they don't do stuff for "old school" anymore..Might try some suspension places/shock manufacturers...good luck, let us know if you have any sucess..
