I have recently had troubles with my 05 600. I Believe it to be a negative ground issue but I'm not certain. It's acting like the stater and rectifier are bad again but I have already replaced them 2 times within the past 6 months.
I was writing it yesterday and it completely drained my battery so I believe I have some kind of issues somewhere.... help?

If the battery is drained after riding the bike's charging system is obviously not working. Put a meter on the battery while it's idling. You need to see 14v to 14.5v. Any less and the stator is not doing its thing (either burned out or not connected/grounded properly). If you're seeing voltages over 15v then your R/R is shot and your battery is being cooked.

When you last changed the stator was it burned? Did the R/R test bad when you replaced it?

The system is either grounded or it's not. If it's not grounded then you'll get no charging. Should be easy enough to follow the ground from the battery to the frame though. Check continuity of the cable and replace if you have none. And clean up all the contact points.
