i can not flash ECU of bike in Pakistan. why we need Flashing the ECU while installing quickshifter/Auto Blipper in GSXR1000 2017 if there is option in the manu of that bike...if it is must then tell me quick shifter that can be plug play and work without flashing the ECU.

I thought the later of the last gen came with an auto blipper quick shift doohickey?

My understanding is the L7 R1000R has Quickshifter & Auto Blipper; the L7 R1000 does not, but it can be added and turned on via the ECU.

On the USA 2017 non R model you must get the ecu flashed to enable the quickshifter. The user can’t just turn it on.
