Just wondered I completely smoked my clutches last year at the track. I put the bike away thinking I would have time to do them before spring. But here it is spring and they arent done yet.
Do you guys think I should replace the steels as well.
I am sure they are glazed, just not sure if they are bad enough to not be scuffed back up. I was going to buy some hipo clutches , but got these brand new off a ebay guy for $20. Couldnt beat that.
Also I ve never changed them in a gixxer before. Any quick suggestions and things to keep an eye out for.

Thanks

Nope. Haven't put a clutch in it yet, least not the GSXR. I would change the steels, or at least pick them up and have them at the ready, especially where you've said you "smoked the clutch."

Thanks. I dont think it will be anything different then any other set I ve replaced. Just wondered if there was any quirks or strictly suzuki thing you had to do with them. I am going to attempt it this weekend if I have time. Hopefully before sunday so I can go and race.

Thanks again
