What size torx bit removes the ignition switch, I want to install my Pro-Tek triple clamp. weeeeeeeee

They are special in that there is a hole in the center to allow for the tit that is in the middle. I couldn't find them anywhere so I just used a dremel to remove the tit first.

If you know anyone that works on cars they could hook you up with them. The bolts are made like that for a reason. Anyways there called saftey torx.

that triple clamp is super hot. how much was it and where did you get it?

they are call "tamper proof" torx

I'll bet that he hasn't been waiting 15 years for that info.

K1-K6 1000's used a #40 tamper proof torx and Suzuki sold tool 09930-11920 for it. They designate it as "T40 Torx bit JT40H".
