Mike Hailwood - 9 world championships (4 of which were what we now call MotoGP) 14 TT wins and all round nice guy

He also took an 11 year break from the TT came back in 1978 on a rubbish ducati and won, in 1979 he won the senior TT on a RG500 Suzuki

Interesting about Hailwood, thanks for that info. Post #3 pretty much sums it up,

Dovi - races clean
Rea - tenacious
Tomac - focused
Roczen - hella fast, explosive / uncontrolled riding style
