Cranked up the bike (gsxr 1100w 1994) after winter hibernation and yep, she was alive and kickin and LOUD instantly.....running idle on 4000 rpm´s My guess is that the choke is stuck. I yanked the lever and the cable but still 4000 rpm´s. Do i need to lift the fuel tank in order to oil the cable or is there another way to fix this permanentely?

Silver make sure your choke slides are returning to the "off" position you might have to remove the air box covers to see em.

ok, will do, thanx. I think i have located the choke "valve" on the left side of the carb. And it seems to be stuck due to poor lubrication.
