I've given up on the stock front brake light switch.
No matter what I do, I can't get it to work properly.

The rear works fine.

So I've decided to install a "hydraulic switch".
(Someone from GDC told me to do this last year.)
It looks like a pretty simple fix.
My question is which kit do I need ?
Since the brake lines are stock I'm guessing that I need the "single bleed".

K&S

10mm Diameter x 1.00mm Thread Pitch, Single Bleed ?
Or
10mm Diameter x 1.25mm Thread Pitch, Single Bleed ?

For some reason I can only to get the brake light
to stay on, or not work at all.
I've tried to move the contact to every possible position.
I believe it should be to the far outside,
but that is when I get the brake light continuously on.
It should be a simple fix, but it is driving me crazy.

Just seens like it ought to be that easy. Love to see that bike stay standard. Maybe the reservouir housing is tweaked somehow.

I'll check the housing to make sure it doesn't looked damaged.
I'm almost positive the problem is where the contact hits the plate.
What else could it be?

It's going to be another lousy day out tomorrow, maybe I'll give it another shot.

While changing my lines to s/s, I learned that the thread sizes needed are 10mm x 1.00 thread pitch.

I'll check with Yoyodyne to see if they have an alterative to the K&S I am looking at:

If you have the bottom plate of the switch (The wires attach to) turned around (Not Upside Down) that will cause the light too stay on.

In my own defense, I was only replacing it the way
it was when I bought it...no wonder it never worked........but it works great now.

I'm trying to install a hydraulic brake switch on the rear brakes on a 03 GSXR 1000, but I have no idea where to connect the 2 wires coming from the rear brake switch.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
