Cycle magazine's dyno from back in the day said 79 at the rear wheel for the 750,and 89 for the 1100.

before I did the motorwork I had it dynoed at 85rwhp with just the Hindle pipe for modifications. It may have been around 80 or 82 stock.

Thanks for getting back to my question about HP ive been up the bush for a few days and the bike has been sittin on a dyno and i will pick it up tomorrow and i will post the results of it the reason i asked is i know the head is ported with 36mmcv's and its got aftermarket pipe on it but other than i dont know whats been done to it.

I acn not believe that none of you gave the right response to this question... The correct should have been "not enough, you need more HP."

Well i picked up the bike tonite after work and steve (the dyno man) was as happy as shit
mate! hows 101 rwhp sound to you (he said ) the first run we had 91 and rich as can be and now you have 101 and its a good strong motor so on the trailer it went go it home put the tank & tail on took it out for a ride and wow

Nice, even pulled my first power wheelie
going for another ride tomorrow.


thanks again for the imfo now i need to find out whats been done to the motor.

A standard motor with 36mm CVs and an aftermarket pipe should give nigh on 100 bhp. With a well-ported head (note I said 'well-ported', as a poorly ported head will do nothing), you should get significantly more than 100 bhp. 101 is not significantly more than 100... Have a word with the bloke who ported the head, and tell him to get a different job...
