I was able to pick up one of those high performance PAIR systems from a guy on eBAY. He said he didn't want to do it, but his 5 into 1 race headers wouldn't clear. Hey, my lucky day, eh?

Anyhow, I've had one helluva time getting that device installed in my '93 1100, given that I only have standard tools and a Black and Decker reversible drill. But the self tapping screws from Costco sure help, except when I went through the water jacket. Anyhow, I digress.

Given the exclusivity of this hi-perf mod, I really want to polish it up. Is there some kind of attachment that I can put on my drill or my dominatrix's strap on????

The only other thing I thought of was anodising, but couldn't find ANY anode in the hardware store, just jeweller's rouge (what a bunch of nancys!)

Anyhow, all help appreciated.

Just imagine if I was also asking how to hook up a 1976 Buick 455 smog pump to it to act as a supercharger. I could go on, but its time for my lithium.

hey bcjohn,

do you have access to anodising?

if not, call UBC (or other university), and talk to one of their machine shops.

i had a buddy at UVic who anodised a bunch of bicycle parts for me. the colours they had were black, grey, clear, blue and I think red too.
i went with clear and black.

John,

I too installed a PAIR on my 1995 Gix 750. I used a set of factory head pipes from a Honda Valkyre. I also installed a spark plug in the exhast canister, so with the flick of a switch....FLAMES!!! Alot of people ask me "Why do you run 6-cylinder pipes on a GSXR?". I answer with "F*CK YOU!!". I can't understand why this pisses people off??!!

I think the best way to enhance your PAIR System is thru soft anodising. This is done with blue chalk and water. While it duz not last very long, it duz look like crap.

Anyway....duz anyone know the correct plug gap specs for my 1995 GSXR 750 w/ US Air Force F-15 jet engine conversion??

john since everyone was F'n with you, go get a cotton pad or a cloth laminate type for your drill and some rubbing compound (turtle wax or mothers, the kind in the little tin cans) and buff like a maniac

Don't you mean "tentacles"....or maybe "testecles"......although I refuse to spread my testes. My "imbecile" was removed at birth.

Did you get your peanuts yet??

Dustin, you've given me an idea. I've still got a LOT of grey Tremclad left from the last repaint of my '87 Civic Wagon (what a beaut!). I think I'll keep my eyes out for a small catalytic converter to keep the exhaust hot, that way I won't need the extra plug...it'll just reach combustion temp and let go.

Perhaps you could try this on the exhaust of your F15??

Now I just have to find enough 5 minute epoxy to fill in the water jacket holes. Or, wait a minute, all the yuppies these days have those little water pumps pouring H2O onto smooth stones. Perhaps I could configure something like that and just replace the overflow tank with a 20 gallon empty pickle bucket from the grocery store. Ahhh, what a hobby, always something to dream up and accomplish

Dustin,

I believe the plug gap is 4ft on the >92 motor, and 3ft 6" after that.

Race_suzuki, are you mad? A10 engines are for those who prefer Hayabusa's

I always use my feeler guage, made from English Oak. When you can fit the trunk of an 8 year old tree between the electrodes, you're set.

Isn't that what Nelson said at Trafalgar just before he was 'splintered'????
