I purchased a wrecked '86 750 with a new motor and 17" wheels. and have got my bike back together. after searching through all my boxes of parts and pieces, I have realized that all my body work has disappeared(except the tail section).Anyway, all brackets are gone also.So if I go with a later model fairing are there factory brackets that will work or do I make my own,and if so out of what and how.The wrecked bike had the lower sides and mids(repaired) and a crushed fairing. the fairing bracket is $100.00 dollars and I haven't priced a headlight assembly. If I go with late model(say TLR-race) does anyone know who sells the small individual lights(I believe PIAA). Any help appreciated.

The bike started on the first try today only needed an idle adjustment, not bad after a two day motor and wheel swap!.found the side piece that goes above the shifter and the piece above the rear brake lever off the bike will work as well as the headlight assembly. seems I only need a fairing, both mids(althought I could repair the ones from the wrecked bike),headlight bracket and fairing stay.I still might like to update the looks, though! how hard to is it to put a gsxr 1000 tail piece on an 87, anyone done it? also still need to know what you do for fairing brackets on late model fairings.
