Anyone ran a 17" rear and 18" front??? Whats this do for the handling/geometry? Is it better just to go both 17"?.. trouble being, I want the newer rubber on the rear but dont want to mess with the front end until winter ..

Will I die if do this ??

you can do it, and you won't die. in fact i think somebody here on this board has an old school gsxr with 17" rear and 18" front.

but, what will probably happen is your rear will sit a little lower, slowing down steering and putting less weight on the front end. if you have an aftermarket shock with a height adjuster you could compensate for that, but if you don't, you can drop the front end a little, but of course that reduces your cornering clearance.
