36500 miles out of my 2004 gsxr600, two bad accidents and she still goes like a bitch on heat and have never had a problem with it. Well done to suzuki for making what seems to be a bullet proof engine. Soon to be stepping up to its bigger brother which should be fun lol
Got 36,000 on my 02 GSXR1000, at least half those on the track over the last 3 years. She still runs great! Made 155 on the dyno after the last tune up in November. My Mech said starting to get wear on her but should be good for at least one more year of trackdays, got 15 scheduled so far for this year!
By the way the most I have gotten out of a GSXR was my 1994 750 (Damn I am getting old) got about 47,000 out of her!
I thought you meant gas mileage. I did 191,000 on my BMW R90/s (1991). I did 88,000 on my RC51 before it blew up! I did 26,000 on My CBR1000 before it was stolen! I've got 39,000 on my GSXR 1000 (05) and still going strong.
I've seen a K5 GSX-R 1000 with 30K on the clock. The only thing that was done was the valve adjustment at 10K, followed by a chain tensioner at 20K. Bike ran fine with no smoke at start-up or idle. Go Suzuki!
my K6 was at about 27,000 miles before it was totalled on the way to work. since that time i've put about 8500 miles on my K7. i usually do about 2500 miles a month during riding season and 1500 or so during the colder months.
