Hi guys wondering if you can help with a little question I have. May sound silly or as-though I’ve answered my own one already but are H7 and H4 fittings the same for a car as a motor bike?

In simpler terms if I buy a h7 labeled for a car it will fit in the bike?

Looking to install a HID kit on my high beam and low beam and all I can find is ones suitable for a car but I’m thinking they should work on the bike.

Have a 2004 600 gsxr, picked it up a week ago so just wondering if anyone can confirm for me.

Thanks gents

I have no proof. Not sure how one would, but the h4, H7 is referring to the socket/plug, 2 prong three prong etc.... However I have seen larger products (bulb side) that simply wont physically fit. Cooling fins/fans etc. Post up a product you are interested in?

Hi mate thanks for the reply, I’ve grabbed a few screen shots of the item I’ve been watching on eBay for you to have a look. I’m not sure if eBay links are allowed or not.

I also done a search for “motorbike HID kits” and I’ve found a few results however, the price of the motorbike kit is like £3 cheaper than the car set.. but I get two bulbs in the car set as apose to 1 for the bike lol.
