Hi, I am new not only to the forum world but also to riding... I do not own a gsxr but my husband does, I am sure you will recognize the name "Ride Naked". I currently ride a ninja 500r but after some research I decided i didn't like the kawasaki forums... I hope that won't get me kicked out :shifty... jk

Back in the day, I started on an EX500 as well. Great starter bike and bullet proof.

Yeah, it's a great bike, had a whole lot of fun with that bike from cruising around town, taking the twisties and long-haul touring. I added a tank bag and saddle bags for those 12+ hour, 600+ mile rides. Plenty of power, good handling, easy to work on and just plain fun.
