I need the inner and outer Mag pieces for a 750 LE dry clutch. the dealer says he can still get the outer part (the one with the actuator in it) but the inner piece that keeps the oil in is no longer available. Mine is broke where the cable threads into the cover and one of the ears of the outer. I long for the sound of a rattling dry clucth again! Can any of you help out? I have all of the other parts (Basket, springs, fibers and steels) just need the inner and outer covers. I do not think that you can weld Mag due to the low flash point but can it be done? This is my Wifes bike and only has 2300 miles on it (she does not ride much) and has had the bike for 10 years.

I don't have any extra dry clutch parts other than plates. I do have a friend that is a welder. I'll ask him next time I talk to him if he'd know of any special needs for Magnesium. Inert gas welding comes to mind but it might depend on the location of the crack/break.
