Hey when you replaced your cam chain and the tensioner to a manual one. Did you need to adjust it around the 1st 1000 miles due to the chain stretching a little bit?
I think I might be worrying a bit too much but I think I am hearing a slight ticking now. I have about 800 miles on the new chain and APE tensioner.

Just curious

Was it a new chain? I hope so, yup you'll need to adjust it, then check it every 3000 at most to be on the safe side. Or was it every 1000?

Actually, just found this in jp233's sticky about CCT's:

If you have done everything correct then the motor should start up and not make any abnormal noise. I check and adjust mine about every 6K miles. - John (GSXR-Freak)

When I put in my new chain I had to adjust it after each ride for the first 3 or 4 rides... After that it was fine again...

None of my wrenches fit the beyotch.

I am so sick of the damn part I could cry. At least the manual is in and I just need to tighten it a bit but what a fuggen pain.
