Hi all. I've been a GSXR owner for years and had several variations and they've always been super reliable.

However I would like to pick your brains please. I've recently fitted a straight through full exhaust system to my L1 GSXR 1000. I've disconnected the exhaust cable, removed the oxygen sensor and fitted an illuminator plug to the connector under the tank and I've also fitted a blanking plug to the aftermarket exhaust where the oxygen sensor used to be.

I've noticed that the bike has a rather bad hesitation when accelerating in first gear. The harder the I'm accelerating the worst the hesitation is.

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

If you didn’t tune it, you shouldn’t be riding it. And if you didn’t Dyno tune it, don’t expect it to be super smooth

Have it dyno'd&mapped thru the ECU or with a PCV. ASAP.
